About Howard:

Howard's profile pictureDr. Howard Kirschenbaum is Professor Emeritus and former chair of Counseling and Human Development at the Warner Graduate School of Education at the University of Rochester, in New York. Dr. Kirschenbaum is the author of more than 20 books on education, counseling, and history. He is a recognized expert on Carl Rogers, having written the earlier biography On Becoming Carl Rogers; he was also co-editor of the Carl Rogers Reader and Carl Rogers Dialogues, and the writer and producer of the DVD Carl Rogers and the Person-centered Approach. But probably even more important is the fact that Dr. Kirschenbaum was a respected, and trusted colleague of Carl Rogers.
